(Kadamba Kanana Swami, Mayapur, November 2011) Lecture – Caitanya-caritamrta part 7

There is a painting in Srila Prabhupada’s house in Vrindavan. On that painting, you can see Krishna and Balarama returning from the forest, and are coming back to Vrindavan….all the eyes are on Krishna: The cows are looking at Krishna; the monkeys are looking at Krishna; the parrots are looking at Krishna; the elders are looking at Krishna; the cowherd boys are looking at Krishna. From behind the columns, the gopis are looking at Krishna. And Krishna from the corner of His eyes is looking towards those gopis! They capture his mind!
So all these other personalities present there, make it stolen moments, which are very precious. So therefore, this parakīya-rasa – this relationship is a stolen relationship…..well that is only found in Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s philosophy in the Caitanya-caritamrta.
