If someone cannot stop eating fish, for whatever reason and has a justification for it,- alright we can have some patience. We can still engage such a person, in someway or another in the process. And that regulative principle can come a little later.
It’s not that on the first day people come through the door, that all the regulative principles have to be followed. Or even some people that regularly come to the temple. It can come gradual- step by step. But we should not say it’s alright. We should’nt justify it. We should explain our reasons; “It’s not alright, , it’s not good.”
And of course if these people feel it themselves – they know very well!
