Krsna is the protector of His devotees. Didn’t Krsna do everything for the Pandavas? Wasn’t Krsna the messenger for Yuddhistir Maharaj? The Supreme Lord acted as a messenger! In other words, we are remembering Krsna as Parthasarti, the chariot driver of Arjuna, the messenger of Yuddhistir, basically, the servant of His devotee. So this is the Bhagavad Gita – that the devotee becomes the servant of the Lord and the Lord becomes the servant of His devotee. That is unique to Bhagavad Gita. You don’t find it anywhere else, you don’t find it in any other religious scripture in the world: that kind of intimacy where the Supreme Lord becomes the servant of His devotee.
The more the devotee serves Krsna, the more Krsna serves the devotee. So this is actually what Krsna Consciousness is meant to be
