Humility is a quality that is difficult to develop, but at least a vaishnava can take a humble position – by giving respect and credit to others and by not taking any credit himself. So for example, if we did some service and someone says:

“Who did it?”

It is not up to us to say, “ I did it!”

No! We should keep our own achievements private by not looking for glorification. Of course when the vaishnavas force us then we in a somewhat embarrassed state will accept glorification, but that this is not something we are looking for – since we are trying to avoid it. It’s not easy at all, but that is our approach.
