Madhavendra Puri understood that somewhere the deity of Krishna had to be there hidden somewhere in the bushes – in the earth. And he called all the villagers and they started digging and found the deity and then Madhevendra Puri arranged for the deity to be installed and then he arranged for a huge festival. A festival where a hill of prasadam was made or bhoga actually, so that the deity could satisfy it’s hunger.
So that’s a transcendental person, who has only transcendental desires. He doesn’t need to do anything else. Nowhere to go, nothing to do and no one to call. No emails to send. He’s not on facebook! He’s not, you can look. Is Madhavendra Puri on facebook? No, he’s not. No, he has no need, he simply chants Hare Krishna, but we have so many needs, so we have to balance. If you have needs in this world then we have to balance with spiritual needs!
