I didn’t just come to Krsna consciousness to become a member of the club. In fact I don’t like clubs. Sometimes devotees ask me, ‘when did you join ISKCON?‘ My answer is, ‘I never joined ISKCON. I joined Prabhupada!‘ And for Srila Prabhupada I am doing service in ISKCON!
That was all along my inspiration. When we read Srila Prabhupada’s books it’s just talking only about one thing, pure devotional service!
By Srila Prabhupada’s mercy I’ve come to understand that the real purpose of sacred space is pure devotional service. I think that anybody, every human being in this world, needs some sacred space, something that you hold in high esteem. That distinguishes men from beast!
If you don’t have any sacred space you are the beast. And of course, Srila Prabhupada was talking about that many times. By His mercy I got an idea of what the sacred space is supposed to be all about… pure devotional service! And everything else has to go! It is not allowed inside!
