When Krishna places His lotus feet in the river Yamuna, the water plants in the Yamuna are holding on to Krishna’s feet and will not allow Krishna to pull His feet out of the Yamuna again. Yamuna then stops flowing and begins to show little whirlpools of ecstasy out of the fact that Krishna’s lotus feet are in her waters. How could she flow and move past Krishna when Krishna’s lotus feet are there? There is no flowing… So in this way in Vrindavan all the residents are absorbed in Krishna prema.
