Vrndavan parityajya napadam na ekam gacchati
Krsna never takes one step out of Vndavan or out of those pastimes. That is Krsna’s concern. What is on Krsna’s mind? These particular pastimes.
It was interesting that some years ago, one senior gaudiya vaisnava asked a question about the worship that was going on in our Delhi temple. He said, “How is it possible, Sri Sri Radha Parthasarathi? It’s a wrong name. That is a contradiction. How can it be? Parthasarathi means the chariot driver of Arjuna. It is on the battlefield in the Kuruksetra. What has Radha got to do with Kuruksetra?”
So this point was raised few years ago and it is interesting that the same point came up in 1975 and was brought to Prabhupada’s attention. Someone asked the question that how is it possible, Radha Parthasarathi? Is it not a contradiction.
Prabhupada said, “No, not at all. Wherever Krsna is, then Radharani is always there. He is always absorbed in that relationship. Therefore even on the battle of Kuruksetra, even there. Therefore Sri Sri Radha Parthasarthi.”
