Sometimes, we may wonder why are we worshiping Lord Nrsimhadev in our sampradaya? Are we not just focused on Krsna? And isn’t Lord Nrsimhadev in kind of another mood, another form, for protection. But doesn’t Krsna protect? Isn’t Krsna protecting his devotees all the time? Doesn’t he kills so many demons? And isn’t Krsna constantly protecting you?
So, if that question is to be answered, there maybe different answers that one can give to it. One could try to historically trace it back. But the first answer that we give is simple and the first answer is because Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu worshiped Lord Nrsimhadev, finished! That’s it, that’s answer because he did it. Because he went to Simhachalam, he went to Ahobilam in South India, he visited these places, he worshiped Lord Nrsimahdev. That settles that!
