(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 03 March 2013, Vrndavan, India, Srimad Bhagavatam 4.27.10)
Srila Prabhupada would occasionally speak out in great humility. For example, there is the purport of Srimad Bhagavatam, in the pastime of when Dhruva Maharaja leaves his body. At that point, as Dhruva Maharaja was about to leave his body, he saw a transcendental plane that had come from Vaikuntha.
There were messengers who had the four-armed forms like Lord Narayana and then there was death as well. Then death offered obeisances to Dhruva Maharaja and he took advantage to step on death and he used death as the stepping stone to enter into the Vaikuntha plane.
When he was about to take-off and he was about to go back to Godhead, he said, “Wait a minute. What about my mother? She is the one who sent me on the spiritual path in the first place, when I didn’t know how to deal with this issue that I couldn’t sit on my father’s lap. At that time my mother said that she could not help me either and only God can help me. My mother said that he could be found in the forest.”
Then he went to the forest, very determined. So, in this way, he appreciated that it was his mother who had sent him in the first place and therefore he said, “What about my mother? Is she going back to Godhead?” Then he saw a second plane with his mother also going back. These two planes went up and they went back to Godhead.
Srila Prabhupada, in the purport is says, “Just as Dhruva, the son of Suruci, delivered her, in the same way, I am hoping that one of my disciples will become a pure devotee and take me back to Godhead.” Prabhupada writes in the purport like that. That famous and an amazing purport where Srila Prabhupada takes a very humble position and suddenly looks at his disciples as the great vaisnavas who are delivering the whole world!
