A human being has to choose what to eat – to be a vegan or a vegetarian which, even in the Hare Krsna movement, has become a fashion. This shows that we have become toothless. Veganism is for toothless Hare Krsnas, those who do not have a bite, because we have to convince the world that cow protection is what it is all about. The very foundation of society is cow protection. If there is no cow protection then society is a demoniac one.
We have to stand up to the world and point out that the best diet is a lacto-vegetarian diet. It must be very lacto because if it is not lacto then we don’t need cows. Cows are not needed in a vegan society! Therefore veganism is artificial. It is not like we have a choice even if the milk is bad. Then let us make better milk, let us protect the cows more and more! Let us have farms… that is the solution.
For the energy crisis, bullock power is the answer. “Yeah but Maharaj, that does not create enough energy!”
It does, you just have to make a small adjustment – you just have to kick out ninety-nine percent of your lifestyle… and give up your electric toothbrush! “But my dentist says the electric toothbrush is essential!”

The man said, “Oh no! I used to eat too many sweets.” Prabhupada said, “I also ate many sweets but I ate the right sweets – milk sweets!”
