On 10 August, Kadamba Kanana Swami travelled to the Krishna Village in Nove Sady, Czech Republic for the opening ceremony of the temple on Balarama Jayanti. Devotees, headed up by Parama Karuna Prabhu and Gauravani Devi Dasi, have been working very hard for the last five years to renovate an old, ruined house into a new temple for Their Lordships Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra Devi. And what a wonderful temple they have built! Although still in the process of completion, the opening went forward as the temple room and some facilities were complete and wonderfully decorated. On this day, Maharaj spoke on the importance becoming spiritually strong which comes from Balarama, the Lord in the mood of serving Krishna.

Also, Bhaktin Manuela from the Harinam Mandir in Czech Republic received initiation and is now Manjulali Devi Dasi. Maharaj then left Czech to spend a few days in Radhadesh before going to Abentheur for Janmastami.
