The spiritual master sees himself as a fallen soul, as trying to be a good instrument and falling short in so many ways but others do not see it like that because that would be an attitude of seeing him as an ordinary human being.

He is an empowered human being but still a human being and still having the limitations of human existence. Limited in strength – how many kilos can one lift!? It is not that the spiritual master can lift Govardhana Hill, he cannot, even a suitcase maybe too much for him. Like that, the spiritual master is limited in strength like any human being.

The spiritual master maybe limited in age, limited in health – he looks vulnerable and frail. The spiritual master has senses like everyone else and the senses are described as being faulty. The senses, as we know, are not the perfect instrument. But still, the spiritual master is perfect and he does not make mistakes!
